A few random things about me...
-Paper, ribbons and pretty typeface make me happy.
- I like to talk. I like to tell stories. I almost became a news broadcaster.
- I am a lover of sangria and all things Spanish.
- Tapatio hot sauce goes with everything.
- when I open my mailbox, I'm hoping for a new issue of Southern Living or Us Weekly.
- I've lived in Tennessee for only four years and I already have a slight southern accent. My west coast friends tease me about it.
- I love wearing my polka dot rain boots on rainy days.
- If I could only shop in two stores the rest of my life, it would be Target and Homegoods.
- Sundresses and flip flops are my favorite uniform in the summer.
- Pumpkin pie is my preferred choice of birthday cake
- Growing dahlias in my yard is one of my greatest achievements.
- I love waking up in the morning to my son's babbles on the baby monitor.
- Our yellow labrador, Rocco, was named after Madonna's son.

Living the sweet life as they say...Amber lives in the 'burbs of Nashville, Tennessee with her husband, baby boy and several cats and dog. She enjoys all things creative - designing, scrapbooking, crafting, photography, decorating and gardening.
Graduating from the University of Nevada with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications, Amber has over 10 years of advertising & marketing experience. Craft-wise, her work has been featured in magazines and books published by Creating Keepsakes, Memory Makers and Scrapbook Trends and was the 2006 Grand Prize Winner of the Kolo album company Scrapbook Your Life contest. In 2006 she launched her line of scrapbooking products named "Dulce" through manufacturer AtoZ.
Besides holding a full time marketing executive position, Amber is Creative & Marketing Director for A Delightful Day Event Planning, a boutique event planning firm specializing in weddings and social events. Assisting clients with theme development and creative direction, she ensures clients day is as unique as them! As a marketing and communications consultant for A Delightful Day, some of her achievements include development of the website and blog, email newsletters, brand development and strategy and design of other collateral.
Amber also enjoys assisting in marketing strategy and freelance graphic design for companies within the wedding industry.

since I can remember, I've enjoyed adding that extra flourish and
detail to special celebrations and events. From invitations to
decorating, friends and family always have turned to me for their
"crafty" needs. It
is only natural when it came time for my own wedding, that I obsessed
over all the litte details, ensuring that the florals and decor
perfectly complemented the detailing on my self-designed invitation
suite...and the favor tags, guest escort cards, wish cards, petal
cones, and lemonade jar labels did too! I
created the Sweet Life Designs studio with the passion for providing
clients with fresh and beautiful custom designs that enhances the
uniqueness of their special event. From the moment your guests open the
envelope, your paper details from start to finish should be a
reflection of you and your one-of-a-kind event. When
